Happy Valentine's Day!

Momogus, Little Sister, ELC, NaturalBlonde, if I don't tell you enough, let me take this day to tell you how important you are to me. I love each of you VERY MUCH!

In other news, congratulations to Ch Felicity's Diamond Jim," a.k.a. "James," an English Springer Spaniel for winning Best in Show last night at Westminster. Many treats for you James!

But here's MY Best in Show!

I LOVE your best in show!! He's very handsome, and I'm sure he would WOW any judge with his personality!!

What's up with your new MOZILLA friends?

A very happy happy Valentine's day to you curly. And may you never get chocolates with cream centers. Nuts only please! (and caramel of course!)

I don't know whats up with the Mozilla people. Thats why I'm trying the word verification thing. Maybe that'll keep them away. (Although they do always say that my blog is nice. Thanks!)

Well, it IS a very nice blog.

Today our entire yard is a skating rink. Even the dogs are slipping and sliding...and poor Sunny can barely keep herself upright on a nice day!

Phil had to sit in a teacher's office for the entire afternoon yesterday and call me a million times on my cell phone. He WENT to school upset that there WAS school - it's so unfair that we haven't had even ONE SNOW DAY! He was beside himself. I didn't dare tell him that Mr. Gus had the day off - he would have refused to even get out of bed today!

The teacher asked him to write what was troubling him, thinking that it was something dramatic and horrible. His paragraph: "there should not have been school today because there was snow on the ground".....so what if it was only 1/4 inch?!??

I love you too, Curlygirl! And your blog and best in show are fabulous. And Mozillaman? Well, it may take me some time. Natural Blonde, I'm sorry about the over-compulsory education that Phil had to endure yesterday. It was so wrong. For only the second time in 10 years, we got a snow day! But don't tell him!

We usually have TONS of snow days. In fact, two years ago we had to go to school on Saturdays to make up the time! How crazy is THAT! As I was looping around the school parking lot for the 4th time, I mentioned that to him. Didn't matter. The faucets were open (LJ style) and there was no turning back from the heartache! He WANTED TO GO HOME!!

Imagine being able to sit on a bean bag chair and call your mother from school a million times? NOT IN OUR DAY!

Oh how I love Phil!!!!

I wish my son could express his feelings - he's so closed-up and reticent!

When I am feeling a little bored and blue in work, I pull up the picture of YOUR best in show...and he makes me smile.

Remember when the grass was green?
