NB, you were working so hard over at the grill that I realized when I went to post this that I don't have a single picture of you. I was very dissapointed in myself - and my newly discovered documentarian self! I see by the shout out to you over at MM that there are other pics proving you were there! I just wanted to second those good thoughts (even though I can't claim 20 years of knowing you). It was really good to see you there, as you always are for Laura and crew. Hope to see you soon - can you spell Baltimore Road Trip???? ELC
It was a good day. I'm glad we did it. It was a good send-off for our lovely old house that I'm going to miss so much. Think of all the fun that has been had in the great slopey back yard. Peanut hunts, estee ball, badminton, croquet, egg tosses, hanging out, parachute games, running through sprinklers, just hanging out.
Ha ha - that image of me spraying tears at the screen makes me think of SpongeBob (who also cries at the drop of a hat). There's one episode where he's crying about something and he starts rotating like a lawn sprinkler and sprays tears rhythmically with little sprinkler sound effects. WA HA HA HA HA!!!!
ELC - I'm kind of GLAD that there aren't too many pictures of me in my "inappropriate" attire! I'm glad you drove in naked though. That made me feel better. Even though I haven't known you for 20 years YET, I feel like I have!!!
CG - "squirt" - "um, there's no smoking at the picnic". But if I had known about the sponge bob sprinkler......
It was a great day. Everything was perfect. The fish team was my favorite, sorry to say. The turkeys did have the most spirit - thanks to their leader...UB.
